LA NOTT DE BISO’ – In Piazza del Popolo after a copious drink of Bisò (hot spiced wine) the Niballo is burned.
LAST SATURDAY OF MAY
The 100 km del Passatore is an ultramarathon running competition that takes place annually starting from Florence and finishing in Faenza.
4th SUNDAY IN JUNE
PALIO DEL NIBALLO – The figures of the 5 districts of the city, in medieval costume, parade through Faenza to reach the competition field: where the Quintana (medieval joust), a challenge between the districts, will be held. As the sun goes down, as tradition dictates, the challenge begins.
END OF AUGUST – BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER
ARGILLA’ ITALIA – it is the long weekend of Ceramics in Faenza, one of the world capitals of majolica, from which the term Faïence originates. An invitation to discover the world of international artistic and artisanal ceramics, with the exhibition-market along the streets of the historic center of Faenza, the exhibitions and many cultural events.
